HELP...which veil fullness do I choose??

I often receive questions about which veil fullness to choose so I thought I would create a post for all those brides who would love to see the difference in fullness on a mid size comb more clearly laid out :) This however does not include information about which length of veil to choose. That will be for another post...

54" Fullness/Sheer Fullness veil: This isnt the greatest pic of the 54" width since it doesnt show the back fully but it should help a bit. This is the most common fullness used with the shortest veils like the elbow and shoulder length veils. It can be used on the longer length veils if you are looking for something really simple and sheer. This will show off any beautiful detail you have on your dress that you dont want to hide with a fuller veil. This width does not wrap the arms. It just hangs in the back :)

72" Fullness/Medium Fullness Veil: This is the most common fullness in fingertip and ballet length veils. This is also a beautiful fullness for a floor length or even a chapel or cathedral length if you don't want too much veil but want the length. This veil gently wraps the shoulders if needed but not too much. Very common fullness! You will also want to consider the width of your train when choosing fullness. You can measure at the widest point from left to right or call the bridal salon you ordered if you do not have your dress yet.

108" Fullness/Fullest Veil: This veil length is great for the longer lengths as it is more proportionate in width and length. The veil is pictured on a larger 4" comb but I currently use a 3" comb instead as I think it is easier for the bride to work with. This veil will wrap the shoulders especially the shorter veil length you go. This fullness is also a great choice if you are wanting a shorter and more poufy style veil. You will also want to consider the width of your train when choosing fullness. You can measure at the widest point from left to right or call the bridal salon you ordered if you do not have your dress yet.

A Vintage Romance - 2013 Collection by Melinda Rose

Ok so Im a total romantic! I love that ushy gushy feeling you get when you watch the romance (in the movies) unfold between two souls that are meant to be together but somehow life has purposed to tell them otherwise. The moment they realize that the other is the One and they come together for that long awaited kiss!! (happy sigh) Magic...its truly magic!!!

“The best love is the kind that awakens the soul and makes us reach for more,
that plants a fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds.
And that's what you've given me. That's what I'd hoped to give you forever”
-Nicholas Sparks
"For you see, each day I love you more.
Today more than yesterday and less than tomorrow."
-Rosemonde Gerar

“I am nothing special, of this I am sure. I am a common man with common thoughts and I've led a common life. There are no monuments dedicated to me and my name will soon be forgotten, but I've loved another with all my heart and soul, and to me, this has always been enough..”
- Nicholas Sparks, The Notebook
“You are, and always have been, my dream.”
-Nicholas Sparks, The Notebook

“The Very first moment I beheld him, my heart was irrevocably gone.”
-Jane Austen, Love and Friendship

"Love is a promise; love is a souvenir, once given never forgotten, never let it disappear."
- John Lennon

“Romance is the glamour which turns the dust of everyday life into a golden haze.”
-Anonymous
"My heart is, and always will be, yours."
-Jane Austen Sense and Sensibility

"Remember tonight, for it is the beginning of always."
-Dante Alighieri

To me life is meant to be lived and meaningful! To love others and to be loved. To create memories and cherished relationships. To treasure the story of our past and to be hopeful for the future. I am deeply inspired by years past...the way they lived, the way they loved and that which they created. I love the luxurious silks, laces, pearls and stones of our ancestors. Not for the material value but the quality, intention and longevity that they bring to our lives and each of my creations. My passion is to bring you a piece that represents those qualities to begin your own journy of love and romance that you can cherish and pass down to those you love...sharing a piece of your love story.

My little pieces of history: ♥ The picture is of my father as a very young man when he was in the navy, the letters are from my grandmother and grandfather which tell of their adventures and love story during WWII, the purple heart was my grandfathers ♥

My collection is dedicated to my dad who left this earth too early. I love you, Dad, to the moon and back!!
With love,
Melinda Rose
